The Analog Switch Pad is a touch-activated, force-adjustable, low-voltage DC, electronic switch designed to control battery-operated toys, environmental controls, and computer access interfaces. This device features a large activation area that is soft and compliant to the touch. Force sensitivity is adjusted by a small dial from approximately 1 ounce to 32 ounces activation pressure, applied over an area ranging from the size of a fingertip to the size of the entire switch surface. A small LED lamp glows when the switch is turned ON by user pressure. A battery-operated toy can be plugged directly into the standard 3.5mm (1/8") output phone jack. A cable is provided to connect the Analog Switch Pad to switch-activated controls and computer interfaces. Internal battery power is consumed only when the switch is activated. The Switch Pad is 5" in diameter and 1 1/4" high. It weighs approximately 11 ounces and uses three replaceable, type AA, batteries (included) to provide many hours of continuous operation and many weeks of normal usage.
